I don’t think I’ve seen other desktops with a left-side/bottom panel set up like mine, but I find it easier to cluster my most used panel function into one corner.

Tinker-itis
Thursday, October 13th, 2005I gave my 91Courtstreet WebGUI template tinker-itis so I’m taking it as a sign that I can play with some other tools. We needed an industrial strength wiki at work, so I gave WikiMedia a test drive. I liked it so much I bought… I mean I recommended it for work and left it as the front page to replace my broken WebGUI template. I’ve always liked wikis - especially the cognitive dissonance they encourage amoung leadership-types when told that the relinguishing of control over the quality of information can result in something other than anarchy.
New Family Member!
Saturday, January 29th, 2005We are proud to anouce that we are the parents of new new, bouncing baby… beetle! I have plans to add a GreaseCar kit to burn pure veggetable oil, as well as look into home-made biodiesel. I’ve heard of petro-diesel mileage exceeding 240 mpg with this kit (That’s just the amount of diesel burned - doesn’t count the veggie oil). Imagine only pulling up to the pumps every three months or so…
Blog Spammed! Where is the mustard?

I had to laugh, ’cause I’m pretty sure I make up about 50% of the readership of this blog, so posting ads here is a little like fishing in the desert… The downside is I’ll need to turn on moderation and such, so the hordes (sic) of legitimate commentors will have to work that much harder. (Hey, I’ve had three, count ‘em three, comments to date!)
